On March 4, students at the University of California, San Diego,
staged a protest against recent fee hikes and a spate of racist incidents
on campus. Artist Sheryl Oring organized a typing pool, and the typists
took dictation of postcards to the university president.

The typists, from left, are: Jesse Mockrin; Ted Chung; Micki Davis;
Jessica Sledge; Stephanie Lie; and Zac Monday.

In all, 118 postcards were dictated to University of California
President Mark Yudof. The cards themselves can be viewed below.
